HOW TO TONE

We offer Toning at the end of every live Pianobath event, and a longer session as part of the Pianobath for Women events. If you want to try this amazing, powerful technique to feel centred and balanced, from the comfort of your own home, you can find a Toning track on our new Pianobath album, or, if you’re a member of Pianobath Online, on the Library page (scroll to the bottom section).

Play the Toning on the best speakers or headphones you have. Make yourself comfy, lying, seated or sitting upright, choose Either immerse yourself in the music or for extra benefits join in with the toning, in any way you like - the most important thing is a sense of ease. Hum low, make the chakra sound, warble like a pigeon, it's all good! Some of my Pianobath people like to give it some welly, and you might find that really releasing. Feel the music and vibrations working their magic in every cell of your body.

CHAKRA CHART

Each chakra sound gets higher, starting with the lowest sound at the root and the highest at the crown, based on where we feel sounds in our body)

ROOT - between the legs, at the base of the spine, our most grounded energy, our sense of security and safety, and basic trust COLOUR: red, SOUND: UH (as in cup)

SACRUM - below the navel, our creative power and sexuality COLOUR: orange, SOUND: OOO

SOLAR PLEXUS - above the navel, our seat of personal power, ambition, motivation COLOUR: yellow, SOUND: OH

HEART - in the centre of the chest, our emotional seat, our centre of love and compassion, COLOUR: green SOUND: AH

THROAT - at our throat, representing our ability to be heard and to speak our truth, COLOUR: blue, SOUND: I
