INTENTIONS
Setting an intention alongside sound healing makes it a force to be reckoned with… I read the book “The Humming Effect” recently. The research team discovered that holding an intention in your mind while you practice any form of sound healing really makes it much more powerful. I’m sure that’s true of most healing areas…. So when you hum, tone or take a Pianobath, take just a moment to bring to mind an intention. You don’t have to think about it throughout the practice. It can be enough just to hold it in your mind at the beginning and, if you like, reconnect with it at the end of your session as you’ll be particularly open.
What is an intention? An intention is a wish/desire or deep value that you’d like to draw more of into your life. You can state it out loud, to yourself, write it down, feel it in you r body, imagine it, visualise it. whatever works for you. The more you can actually experiene the intention/feeling/value, the better…. Essentially it’s the creative process, and can help rewrite negative, repetitive programs you’re running in your life - you’re sending a clear message to your subconsious mind that you are, in this present moment, aligned with “peace”, “forgiveness”, “support” “vibrant health”, or whatever your chosen intention was. The subconscious mind will respond by creating more of that in the future. It will literally rearrange your biochemistry to draw more of this energy to you. If you don’t believe look at some of the latest literature in epigenetics. There’s a great scientist/thinker called Bruce Lipton you can look up. i’m listening to his “The Wisdom of Cells” on Audible at the moment.
Here are some examples of intentions you might like to work with.
Presence (being more in the moment)
Freedom (feeling free)
Energy (feeling vital and recharged)
Forgiveness (of ourselves and others)
Life purpose (knowing our purpose, how we serve others)

Good luck with using intentions. And let me know of any success you have with them!
